ENDORSEMENTS

This grassroots campaign of the people, by the people, and for the people is all about you.   If you feel strongly about supporting Matt Gibbons for President, please record a 30-60 second video about what his campaign means to you and upload it to YouTube.  Email the YouTube link to daylightintheswamp2024@gmail.com and your video could be featured here!

Impossible? Before one believes Matt Gibbons has lost his mind, one should pause and meditate on the words of Norman Vincent Peale, Robert H. Schuller and John C. Maxwell. Before Mr. Gibbons, these men were once unknown. They all had a story. They all were or are motivated by grace, positivity and an imagination trained to solve problems and add value to our society.

The Encourager believes social media, for all its shortcomings, has possibilities of ushering in a new generation of leaders for America. Some have read my essays urging term-limits and needed reforms.

I became acquainted with this gentleman a few years ago during what I call my “summer sabbaticals.” Constructive conversations and politeness have been the hallmark of our gatherings. You might want to use your imagination to override the Rule of 7 marketeers know. While most “products” need to be seen or heard several times before anyone retains interest, social media is changing that custom. Listen to Matt Gibbons message (content, delivery, energy, sincerity, referencing, historical comments and perspectives, motives). We’re all familiar with the “talking heads” seen daily and nightly on packaged, commercial-driven news. Can you not concede that Mr. Gibbons has topically addressed our nation’s needs with passion, intellect, integrity and patriotism – and yes, a flare of showmanship. Think of the construct of his “one shot.” Can you seriously argue with this message? Compare this message to the “patch-writing” performed by politicians and their speechwriters.

Possible? God only knows. Bringing people to acknowledge a “higher power” was the passion of Dr. Norman Vincent Peale. Dr. Schuller inspired a new generation to dream big and explore possibilities. John C. Maxwell eloquently implores people to do more than communicate; he encourages people to “connect.”

It is not lost on me that Mr. Gibbons is willing to make sacrifices and put himself out there in the political arena. Perhaps we should listen to WHAT he’s saying and ask ourselves, “Is it possible?” Such possibilities have the potential of starting a movement. He and his message have my interest. Where it goes remains to be seen; however, it’s a move in the right direction. That’s what Possibility Thinking was all about. And it should remain that way if we’re to ever move from the rut we find ourselves.
